At Çita Marine Furniture, we are proud to have played a pivotal role in one of Norway’s most environmentally forward maritime projects — the HINNØY ferry. This fully battery-powered vessel, operating in northern Norway, is a landmark for sustainable transportation at sea — and a showcase for innovative marine interiors.
Smart Design, Responsible Production
Commissioned by Torghatten Nord, designed by Norwegian Ship Design, and built at Cemre Shipyard, HINNØY embodies the values we hold at Çita Marine Furniture: quality, durability, and sustainability.
For this project, we delivered the complete marine furniture production and installation scope, including:
- Fixed and Loose Furniture Manufacturing: Designed and produced in-house for passenger and crew areas, ensuring ergonomic comfort and long-term durability.
- Ceiling Panel Installation: Functional and aesthetic solutions tailored to the vessel’s requirements.
- Flooring Installation: High-performance marine flooring systems, installed with precision.
