CITA Marine Furniture has successfully completed the marine furniture outfitting works for the Antarctic Enabler refit project carried out at Norse Shipyard. The project forms an important part of the extensive conversion process of Antarctic Enabler, a krill support vessel operating within the Aker QRILL Company fleet.

Antarctic Enabler is a specialized support vessel designed to operate under demanding environmental conditions. Within the scope of the project, CITA Marine Furniture designed, manufactured, and installed high-performance and durable fixed furniture solutions for the vessel’s accommodation and working areas. All works were carried out in full compliance with international maritime requirements and IMO standards.

Project Scope and Solutions Provided

CITA Marine Furniture’s scope of responsibility within this refit project included:

• Design, manufacturing, and onboard installation of fixed furniture for the vessel’s accommodation and working areas
• Development of furniture solutions focused on durability, ergonomics, and efficient use of space
• Delivery of products in compliance with international maritime standards and classification society requirements
• Interior solutions optimized to enhance crew comfort, safety, and operational efficiency
