CITA, the Pioneer in Marine Furniture, has successfully completed this project which involved renewing the public areas of these two well-known Ro-Pax vessels, as well as adding 98 new cabins built from scratch.
The STENA LINE - STENA SCANDICA / BALTICA project saw an extensive refurbishment and extension of the ferries, with a 36-meter section added to each vessel. The newly built section accommodated 98 new cabins. Several existing public spaces on the ships were also refurbished and renewed.
CITA Marine Furniture was scope of work involved;
- Manufacturing and installing furnishings of 98 new cabins
- Refurbishing key public areas, including the living room, two reclinable lounges, the forward restaurant, and outdoor area.
- Upgrading 10 crew cabins
- Renewing the shop area
- Supplying and installing over 5,000 individual pieces of loose furniture
